This popular 2-day training program, which includes a 12 month embedding program, provides participants with a solid theoretical basis and a rich set of practical frameworks to guide supervision practice. The training emphasises ways to build an engaging supervisory relationship, informed by values, self-awareness, emotional intelligence ensuring the development of a psychologically safe environment, where learning can flourish.
The workshop blends theory with practical experience, is highly interactive and relevant to anyone providing professional and clinical supervision, from workplace supervisor to external supervisor. This workshop has evolved over a number of years and has been delivered throughout Australia and New Zealand.

The training provides a practical framework for supervision, opportunities for skill building, practice, sharing knowledge and experience. It covers the depth and breadth of best practice supervision including:
WHAT IS SUPERVISION?
Understand what is best practice supervision and what is not supervision
Explore the key principles, functions and aims of supervision
Build a supervision framework aligned with best practice
LEARNING GOALS IN SUPERVISION
Develop a supervisory agenda, not just a list of problems
Understand the 4 areas of learning goals - clinical, professional, personal and organisational
Build three types of learning goals - reactive, reflective, and proactive
LEARNING APPROACH IN SUPERVISION
Apply learning styles, learning stages & developmental stages to enhance responsiveness to the supervisee’s learning needs

Comprehensive Workbook and Resources
As part of the live online training, you will receive a comprehensive workbook. It contains all of the workshop material, practical tools and frameworks. After the workshop you will be provided an extensive list of resources, references and links to some helpful videos. These will help you utilise and consolidate the important concepts covered in the training which you can share with colleagues and your workplace.
Embedding Program: A 12 month resource
In addition to the training itself, an embedding program is included as part of the package. The embedding program consists of 25 emails sent fortnightly over a 12 month period as a reminder of the key learnings from the training. Participants can sign up for the embedding program at anytime after the program.

Certificates
Certificates of attendance will be emailed within a week of the workshop.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations may be received in writing up to 4 weeks ahead. If you need to cancel up until that time, you will receive a refund, less a 10% processing fee. If you are unable to attend the workshop, you are welcome to pass on your place to a colleague.
