Professional Supervision Training
Quick links for Professional Supervision Training details
Quality supervision supports us to deliver the best client services possible.
Supervision can be an optimal, even transformative learning experience that helps us build clinical and practice wisdom.
It is a uniquely tailored, professional development process that supports clinical and professional skill development, reflection and the essential skills of self-care and personal well-being.
As the Transformative Supervision Model conveys, supervision is not always a positive experience. If supervisors and workplaces are unaware of best-practice principles, there is a risk that supervision can be a benign, or even toxic experience.

Best practice supervision quiz
Does your workplace offer professional and clinical supervision that is:
high-quality

Supervision can be a highly transformative experience that provides significant benefits to the supervisee, supervisor, and workplace. If the evidence is ignored, supervision can be a waste of time or even worse, an invalidating, traumatic or toxic experience.
Michelle has created a quiz to help you consider the degree to which the supervisory approach taken in your workplace aligns with best practice. The quiz is more educative than evaluative and helps identify the common approaches taken at each of the four levels.
