Welcome to 2025: A Year of Learning, Re-Learning, and Unlearning

Happy New Year!

As we embrace the fresh start that 2025 offers, it’s the perfect moment to reflect on our past experiences and set our sights on the future.

What have you taken away from 2024?

In thinking about the takeaways from 2024, we've been focusing on the powerful triad of learning, re-learning, and un-learning.

Learning

Reflecting on the past year, we've all experienced growth in numerous ways. We've been learning, gaining new insights, self-awareness, knowledge and skills, enhancing our professional and personal lives.

The Art of Re-Learning

But equally important to learning is the process of re-learning – revisiting our existing knowledge and skills to refine or update them, or enhance them in light of new experiences, new information or changing circumstances. Re-learning often allows us to level up to increasingly advanced levels of insight and skill development.

Re-learning is a vital part of our journey. It involves revisiting what we know and being open to seeing it in a new light, and adding new dimensions to our knowledge and wisdom. This process reinforces our existing knowledge base but also ensures its relevance in our ever-evolving world. In 2024, we embraced this adaptive learning approach, ensuring our practices remained dynamic and responsive to change.

Celebrating Our Un-learning

Un-learning is when we let go of outdated beliefs, perspectives or approaches that no longer serve our purpose or align with our values.

Un-learning is as crucial as learning. It's about questioning the status quo and being open to new perspectives. In 2024, we embraced this concept, challenging ourselves to let go of preconceived notions, old and outdated thinking that no longer serve us. This process not only makes room for growth but also fosters a culture of open-mindedness and innovation within our practice.
