In-house program details

  • Comprehensive Workbook and Resources

    All participants will be provided with a printed and bound workbook containing all of the workshop material, practical tools and frameworks discussed in the training.

    Resources

    After the workshop, all participants will be provided with a link to an extensive list of resources and references as well as links to some helpful videos. These will help individuals utilise and consolidate the important concepts covered in the training. 

    Embedding Program (for Professional Supervision course only) : 12 month resource

    The embedding program consists of 25 emails sent fortnightly, over a 12 month period, to all participants as a reminder of the key learnings from the training. Participants can sign up for the embedding program anytime after the program.

    Book

    Each organisation receives several copies of Michelle’s book Leading Above the Line: Applying neuroscience to build psychologically safe and thriving teams - more details about the book can be found here

    Certificates

    Certificates of attendance are able to be emailed to the program coordinator to distribute.

  • Depending on your needs, we will schedule 1-2 planning meetings to ensure we align the facilitated workshop with your team needs and expected outcomes.

    Once the workshop is over, you are able to schedule a follow up meeting with Michelle to support the ongoing integration of the learnings and provide you with the opportunity for feedback about the workshop and logistics.

    If you have any policies, procedures, organisational charts or other documents that would provide Michelle with background about your workplace, you are encouraged to forward to Michelle prior to the workshop to give her time to review and better understand your workplace.

  • Training can be delivered online or in-person at your workplace or designated venue.

    The length and delivery method of programs can also be customised e.g. 1/2 day, full day, multiple days; training spread over a period of time, webinars (pre-recorded or live); Q and A sessions.

  • Booking & Cancellation Policy

    • 100% payable for the workshop at time of booking to secure confirmation.

    • To be paid within 30 days of receipt of invoice.

    • Travel expenses are invoiced separately after the workshop.

    • Please note we have a no cancellation policy. Bookings can be rescheduled with 60 days’ notice.

This program has been developed for Supervisors.

This 2-day program elevates clinical supervision from a cursory ​practice to a rich, empowering and energising learning experience.

Getting the most out of Supervision

This program has been developed for Supervisees.

Supervisees are not always clear about what is expected of them, understand how to articulate their learning goals, ask for what is needed and drive their own supervision. 

This practical 1-day program provides individuals with the frameworks and skills to prepare for and maximise their own learning and develop their capacity to be self-directed,  life-long learners. 

  • This program provides the frameworks and skills to assist supervisees to maximise their learning and make the most out of their supervision sessions.

    It provides practical skill building opportunities for supervisee's at all levels of experience.

  • Through participation in this program, supervisees learn to :

    • understand that supervision is part of an on-going learning and development journey focussed on their learning needs

    • develop and define clinical, organisational, professional and personal learning goals

    • navigate proactive vs reactive learning goals

    • build an engaging and positive supervisory relationship with their supervisor

    • contribute to a solid contracting process

    • prepare for and drive supervision sessions and be a self-directed learner

Customised Professional & Clinical Supervision

This program has been developed for leaders and managers.

This customised program will ensure leaders and managers, regardless of their professional background, understand best practice principles surrounding professional and clinical supervision. 

It will also ensure supervision practices in your workplace are aligned with your values and delivered  in a cohesive and professional manner for the benefit of your team and the people they support.

  • Michelle will work closely with you and your key leaders to develop a program to assist your managers and leaders to support best practice professional and clinical supervision in your workplace including:

    • reviewing key principles of supervision aligned with supervision’s evidence-based research as well as informed by the relevant professions approach to supervision and the departments of health

    • developing supervision policies and procedures

    • optimising learning culture

Advanced Clinical Supervision

This program is only available to Supervisors within your workplace who have completed Michelle’s foundational 2-day Professional Supervision program.

This 1-day Advanced Clinical Supervision program provides a deeper exploration of the core skills of supervision and an opportunity to reinforce, consolidate and extend learning. There are significant opportunities for practice and experiential skill development. This training will be informed by the learning needs of those attending in your workplace. 

  • During this training participants will  

    • review and consolidate their learning from the foundational Professional Supervision program.

    • discuss strategies to engage reluctant supervisees.

    • further explore how to manage tricky conversations and develop their skills around providing feedback. 

    • enhance their skills in the development of learning goals.

    • review the contracting process and use of the Supervision Roadmap.

    • apply different learning styles to supervision sessions and strategies to support the learning of the individuals they supervise.

    • develop practical solutions to manage supervisory relationships in the content of your workplace.

    • Strengthen skills in supporting supervisees through greater reflective learning

    • Further refine supervision contracting and goal-setting processes

    • Build greater confidence with tricky conversations

    • Other learning outcomes as submitted by the participants in advance
